OUR STORY
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
I was raised in a Christian home and although I accepted Christ as my personal Saviour at the early age of
4 years old. Unfortunately, I strayed from the teaching and it was during a very tough season of my life that I came back to my faith when initially I took sepsis and endured 4 months of a delayed full recovery. This disabled me from returning to work and brought me to my knees and I cried out to God to heal me, during which I experienced the power of simple faith and prayer and God healed me! This gave me a measure of faith. Faith is being sure of what we hope for, it is being certain of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1). Shortly after I came to faith, I endured another very tough season which resulted in me leaving my marital home with 2 little children aged 2 and 3 and to find out a week later I was pregnant.

During this time God gave me a vision to set up a faith based support group for victims of domestic abuse and their family and friends. Three years later, it is now coming to fruition. My aim is to use and share what I have learned during my journey, in hope that it will help many others enduring times of suffering and pain.
I cannot thank God enough for what he has done for me, how he helped me, guided me, provided for me and the children, comforted me and how he has healed me.

Trusting and Obeying God in the journey of life leads us into his plan for our lives and it Glorifies God. If we pray believing in Jesus name, God hears and answers our prayers (Mark 11:24). God has mercy on us and grants us grace to embrace the storms of life. Sometimes we see an instantaneous miracle and other times he embraces the storm with us, giving us strength and carries us through to the other side. If we believe then we can stand on the promise in Gods word that no matter what we are faced with in life, we are assured that “All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). We are also assured that “the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us” (Romans 8:18)

So many people are suffering and do not know of Gods saving grace and his power to heal and help us through life. What he has done for me (and many others) he can and will do for anyone who reads his word and comes to faith, repents, and asks for forgiveness and asks God into their heart and to cleanse them from all sin. Gods perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Nothing can separate us from the Love of God (Romans 8: 31-39)
This world needs hope, it needs God’s word. It needs their Saviour – Jesus Christ. For with God, Nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
